30 September Updates: Wilderness Achievements rework

by Nazuths » Wed Sep 30, 2026 4:31 pm

We are back with another round of quality of life changes, bug fixes and a rework of the Wilderness achievements!

Wilderness Achievements
The Wilderness diary has received a rework, with a new interface, updated PvP tasks and a point-based completion system.

Each task can now be completed twice. PvM tasks award 1 point per completion, while PvP tasks award 2 points. You will need 52 points to complete the diary, allowing regular players to combine PvM and PvP achievements. Ironmen can complete the diary entirely through PvM.

The separate PvM and PvP rewards are unlocked by completing every unique task in their respective category once. Existing achievement progress and previously earned rewards are preserved.
Image
  • Added 13 PvP tasks covering special-attack finishes, Vengeance kills, low-health victories, combat-style switches and more.
  • Added fight validation to help prevent achievement boosting, with support for normal melee, hybrid and Vengeance fights.
  • Added progress messages for each qualifying PvP task increment.
  • Completion messages now identify the task and the points earned.
  • Fixed several achievement checks, including low-health Chaos Elemental kills and PvM reward unlocks for Ironmen.
Master Brawling Gloves
You can now combine your brawling gloves into one golden master pair!
Image

Speak to the Estate Agent with all 20 obtainable pairs of brawling gloves, 2B coins and 5,000 PkHonor points. The coin fee can also be paid using 100M and 1B tickets.

Master brawling gloves are untradeable and provide a 30% XP bonus across all skills, along with the existing effects of the individual gloves. They can also be stored in your brawling gloves storage.

Brawling gloves now have a Drop option instead of Destroy. Regular pairs can be reclaimed through the refund box for 100M each, while master gloves cost 500M to reclaim.

Tree Farming
Finished with a tree and ready to plant another? The farmers near tree patches now have a right-click Pay option.
Image

For 2M coins, they will instantly clear your planted tree without a confirmation dialogue. If you cannot afford the fee, a message will explain how much you need.

You will now also receive a chat message when a tree finishes growing, including its location.

Mining and Cooking
  • Coal mined while carrying a coal bag now goes directly into the bag until it is full.
  • Ordinary mining no longer awards random gems. Gems can still be obtained from gem rocks.
  • Gem rocks now use the same mining speed as coal.
  • Supported fires and cooking ranges can now be left-clicked to start cooking raw food from your inventory.
Clues and Implings
Easy and medium clue scrolls are now more common from PvM. The increase is smaller in multi-combat areas to account for NPCs that can be farmed in large groups.

Lucky impling rewards now count towards every applicable clue collection log, from easy through master. Items shared between multiple tiers will register in each relevant log.

The chance of receiving non-dragon-claw rewards from Dragon implings has been doubled.

Noted Bar and Bone Drops
Metal dragons now drop five noted bars of their corresponding metal per kill. This applies to bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant and rune dragons. Bronze dragons already dropped five bars; these are now noted, while the other metal dragons' standard bar drops have increased from one to five.

Adamant and rune bar drops from iron, steel, black and brutal black dragons are now noted as well.

Completing Combat Achievement tiers now unlocks noted PvM bone drops, including outside the Wilderness. Each tier also includes the benefits of the tiers below it:
  • Easy: Regular bones, wolf bones, monkey bones, big bones, large monkey bones, babydragon bones, wyrm bones and dragon bones.
  • Medium: Dagannoth bones.
  • Hard: Drake bones, lava dragon bones and hydra bones.
  • Elite: Frost dragon bones.
  • Master: Superior dragon bones and Ourg bones.
You can turn this reward on or off through Ghommal's Noted Combat Achievement PvM bones option. Your preference is saved between sessions. Bonecrusher effects still take priority over noting eligible bones, and the Wilderness diary's noted-bone reward keeps its separate toggle.

Ground Items
Matching stackable NPC drops, such as coins, runes and noted items, now combine into a single stack.
Image

Duplicate non-stackable items are also grouped into one right-click menu entry with a quantity displayed. Selecting that entry still picks up one item at a time.

Chambers of Xeric
Chambers of Xeric has received several combat and encounter adjustments.
  • Attacks already underway against Tekton or Vasa will now land when the boss transitions to its anvil or crystal phase. Starting new attacks during these phases remains blocked.
  • The large Muttadile now switches between ranged and magic after three attacks of the same style.
  • Muttadiles now attempt to eat from the meat tree below 50% health.
  • Reduced Muttadile maximum hits.
  • The meat tree now awards 5 points per damage dealt, and its damage formula has been adjusted.
  • You will no longer splash on jewelled crabs with a magic attack bonus above -64.
  • Reduced Vasa's ranged defence.
  • Vasa now receives its crystal healing only if the crystal is not destroyed in time.
  • Reduced the Ice Demon's magic defence.
  • Increased Lux grub health from 100 to 125.
  • Increased Medivaemia blossom healing from 20 to 35.
Unique Rewards
The items you receive from purple chests have been rebalanced, with less weight on Augury+ and Rigour+ scrolls and more on Ancestral pieces.

We have rebalanced the unique reward table and added separate weightings for Challenge Mode raids completed within the time limit. Regular raids and Challenge Mode raids completed outside the time limit use the Regular table.

The tables below show the old and new weights. Each weight applies to one item; Ancestral pieces and the three rare weapons are grouped for readability, but each item has its own listed weight.

Other Boss and Minigame Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where Abyssal Sire could remain missing until players left the area for several minutes.
  • Maiden's Nylocas freeze chance now accounts for effective magic accuracy, including relevant prayer and equipment bonuses. Reaching the required accuracy guarantees a freeze.
  • Fixed overlapping Gauntlet crystal teleports allowing players to remain in the preparation room after the boss timer expired.
  • Fixed God Wars instance cleanup that could prevent bosses from respawning.
  • Ghommal's hilt now teleports players to the correct regular or Ironman height. Entering a boss room handles Morph height separately.
  • Fixed Castle Wars incorrectly reporting that a player already had another account inside when someone else was playing.
  • Cerberus lava pools now damage players standing on the pool itself, rather than adjacent tiles.
Other Changes and Fixes
  • Fixed the crystal armour damage bonus being applied twice.
  • Removed the ancient effigy limit from PvM drops.
  • Creating a dragonfire shield now awards 150,000 Smithing XP.
  • Creating a dragonfire ward now awards 600,000 Smithing XP.
  • Enchanting a dragonstone amulet now produces an uncharged amulet of glory.
  • Fixed equipment preset conflicts that could cause items to disappear when switching between shields and two-handed weapons.
  • Fixed the Runecrafting brawling gloves bonus being applied twice.
  • Added further fixes for loot key contents disappearing after partial withdrawals and banking.
  • Standardised 100M tickets so legacy versions convert to the current ticket when received.
  • Fixed the toxic blowpipe retaining an old dart type and preventing different darts from being loaded.
  • Fixed a full inventory preventing continued kindling processing despite already carrying kindling.
  • Refundable items now use their reclaim cost where applicable when calculating death risk.
  • Added a chat message when the Evil Chicken instructs you to bow.

4 August Updates: The Gauntlet and Prifddinas

by Nazuths » Tue Aug 04, 2026 10:44 pm

βš” The Gauntlet & Prifddinas βš”
Image
The Gauntlet is a solo activity located in Prifddinas. Upon entering, your normal equipment and inventory are stored temporarily and you are placed inside a randomly generated dungeon with only the basic tools required to begin.

You will have a limited amount of preparation time in which you can explore rooms, gather resources, defeat crystalline creatures and sing equipment at the Singing Bowl. Once sufficiently prepared, you must enter the central chamber and defeat the Hunllef.

The Regular Gauntlet provides ten minutes of preparation time and culminates in a fight against the Crystalline Hunllef.

The Corrupted Gauntlet provides seven minutes and thirty seconds of preparation time. Its creatures are stronger, its resources are corrupted and the Corrupted Hunllef is considerably more dangerous. Unlike OSRS, a Regular Gauntlet completion is not required before attempting the Corrupted Gauntlet.

Both versions are available immediately from the Gauntlet lobby.

Warning for Hardcore Ironmen:

The Gauntlet is an unsafe activity for Hardcore Ironmen. Your normal equipment is protected by the activity, but dying inside will cause you to lose your Hardcore status. Hardcore Ironmen will receive an additional warning before entering.

🐺 The Hunllef 🐺
The Crystalline and Corrupted Hunllef have received their intended combat mechanics.

The Hunllef alternates between ranged and magic attacks, periodically disables prayers and changes its protection prayer based on the attacks used against it. Players must adapt their combat style while avoiding the dangerous floor patterns and tornadoes that appear throughout the fight.

Its attacks and hazards include:
  • Alternating ranged and magic attacks
  • Protection-prayer switching
  • Prayer-disabling attacks
  • Damaging floor patterns
  • Pursuing tornadoes
  • Stomp damage when standing underneath it
  • Armour-dependent incoming damage
The effectiveness of Gauntlet armour is determined by the combined tiers of the helm, body and legs. Mixed armour sets therefore provide appropriate protection according to their total armour tier rather than requiring three identical pieces.

Regular and Corrupted completions, deaths and personal-best times are recorded separately and can be viewed from the scoreboard in the lobby.

βš’ Preparation and crafting βš’

Image

Resources can be collected throughout the dungeon and used at the Singing Bowl to create armour, weapons and supplies.

The Tool Storage in the starting room will replace any basic tool you no longer have, including your sceptre, axe, pickaxe, harpoon, and pestle and mortar.

The Crystal Singing Recipes and Egniol Potions objects provide instructions explaining the available recipes and potion-making process.

The Singing Bowl can be used to create:
  • Basic, attuned and perfected armour
  • Basic, attuned and perfected halberds
  • Basic, attuned and perfected bows
  • Basic, attuned and perfected staves
  • Teleport crystals
  • Empty vials
  • Crystal and corrupted paddlefish
  • Escape crystals
Egniol potions can be made by filling an empty vial, adding a Grym leaf and combining the unfinished potion with crystal dust.

A functional Bank Deposit Box has also been added to the lobby.

Items dropped inside the Gauntlet remain on the floor for the entire duration of the instance. They are removed when the instance terminates.

πŸ† Gauntlet rewards πŸ†
After an attempt, rewards can be claimed from the chest in the lobby.

Successful runs provide guaranteed Crystal shards and uncut onyxes alongside several rolls on a supply table. The Corrupted Gauntlet provides more rolls, larger quantities and improved unique rates.

Possible regular rewards include:
  • Crystal shards
  • Uncut onyxes
  • Crystal keys
  • Astral, Cosmic and Death runes
  • Saradomin, Guthix and Zamorak arrows
  • Uncut dragonstones
  • Mithril ore and bars
  • Rings of recoil
  • Super antifire potions
  • Overloads and other high-level supplies
Most non-stackable rewards are delivered in noted form so players do not need to bank after every few completions.

Clue scrolls remain unnoted. If you have unlocked the corresponding clue-scroll box, the clue will automatically be placed inside one instead.

Regular Gauntlet unique rates:

Image Crystal weapon seed β€” 1/50

Image Crystal armour seed β€” 1/50

Image Enhanced crystal weapon seed β€” 1/400

Image Blood shard β€” 1/150

Image Youngllef β€” 1/500

Corrupted Gauntlet unique rates:

Image Crystal weapon seed β€” 1/30

Image Crystal armour seed β€” 1/30

Image Enhanced crystal weapon seed β€” 1/200

Image Blood shard β€” 1/75

Image Youngllef β€” 1/300

The Gauntlet cape is awarded upon the first successful Corrupted Gauntlet completion if you do not already own one.

Youngllef can be transformed between its Crystalline and Corrupted forms after completing the Corrupted Gauntlet.

Failed attempts only provide consolation loot after meaningfully engaging the Hunllef and dealing at least 10% of its health. Entering and immediately leaving will not award a consolation reward.

All reward transfers are logged.

πŸ“œ Combat Achievements πŸ“œ
The Gauntlet now has dedicated Combat Achievements for both difficulties.

These include:
  • Combined Regular and Corrupted completion milestones
  • Corrupted completion milestones
  • Completing a run without making armour
  • Completing a run without making an Egniol potion
  • Completing a run after making no more than one attuned weapon
  • Regular and Corrupted speed runs
  • Defeating the Hunllef in perfected armour
  • Avoiding all off-prayer damage
  • Perfect Crystalline and Corrupted Hunllef encounters
A Perfect Crystalline Hunllef kill requires avoiding floor, tornado and stomp damage.

A Perfect Corrupted Hunllef kill additionally requires avoiding off-prayer damage and not attacking with the wrong combat style.

When a Combat Achievement is failed, its failure message will only be displayed once during that run.

🎡 Crystal Singing Bowl 🎡

Image

The Singing Bowl in Prifddinas now has a new chatbox crafting interface.

Rather than displaying every possible recipe, the interface only displays items for which you currently have the necessary materials. Up to three items are shown per page, with arrow buttons available whenever additional pages exist.

Selecting an item displays:
  • The materials that will be consumed
  • A confirmation dialogue
  • An option to create one
  • An option to create every possible item
  • A completion dialogue showing the created item
The following equipment can be created:
  • Crystal helm
  • Crystal body
  • Crystal legs
  • Crystal bow
  • Crystal shield
  • Crystal halberd
  • Blade of Saeldor
  • Bow of Faerdhinen
  • Corrupted Blade of Saeldor
  • Corrupted Bow of Faerdhinen
  • Enhanced crystal keys
Crafting crystal equipment awards both Crafting and Smithing XP at ten times the corresponding OSRS rate.

Corrupting an inactive Blade of Saeldor or Bow of Faerdhinen does not award XP.

Multiple copies of charged crystal equipment may be created and owned. Copies of the same equipment type share one charge pool.

🏹 Crystal equipment πŸ—‘οΈ
Crystal equipment now has its proper requirements, equipment bonuses, charge mechanics and combat effects.

This includes the Crystal bow, shield, halberd and armour set, alongside the Blade of Saeldor and Bow of Faerdhinen.

Image Blade of Saeldor:

A fast level-80 melee weapon positioned above PkHonor’s custom whips while remaining below the Scythe of Vitur against suitable targets.

Image Bow of Faerdhinen:

A level-80 ranged weapon that does not require ammunition. Crystal armour improves both its accuracy and damage through individual piece bonuses and its complete set effect.

The bow is intended to compete around the level of the Zaryte crossbow while remaining below the Twisted bow against high-magic targets.

Image Crystal halberd:

A two-handed melee weapon with an implemented special attack, offering additional reach and multi-target potential.

Crystal equipment correctly consumes charges during combat. Eligible equipment becomes inactive, discharges or reverts to its seed when lost on death, depending on the item.

Inactive crystal weapons, Crystal armour seeds and Enhanced crystal weapon seeds are tradeable.

🎨 Crystal recolouring 🎨
Lliann has opened Lliann’s Wares at her original location in Prifddinas.

She sells elven clan crystals for 500M coins each. These crystals can recolour:
  • Corrupted Blade of Saeldor
  • Corrupted Bow of Faerdhinen
  • Crystal helm
  • Crystal body
  • Crystal legs
Available clan colours include Ithell, Iorwerth, Trahaearn, Cadarn, Crwys, Meilyr, Hefin and Amlodd.

Using a Meilyr crystal on Crystal armour restores its default blue appearance.

The Bow of Faerdhinen’s projectile and impact graphics also change to match the selected bow colour.

πŸ”‘ Elven Crystal Chest πŸ”‘

Image

Enhanced crystal keys can now be used on the Elven Crystal Chest in Prifddinas.

Enhanced keys have a teleport option that takes you directly to the chest and can be created at the Singing Bowl using a Crystal key and Crystal shards.

Every chest provides:
  • 20M–40M coins
  • 3–6 noted uncut dragonstones
  • 15–30 Crystal shards
  • 30–60 PkHonor Points
  • One weighted supply reward
Additional rewards include:

Image Blood shard β€” 1/100

Image Noted uncut onyx β€” 1/1,000

Image Any Dragonstone armour piece β€” 1/50

Each individual Dragonstone armour piece has an effective rate of 1/250.

The supply table can provide Crystal keys, uncut gems, Overloads, Super prayer potions, vials of blood, Runite bars, Rocktails, Ancient repair kits and Dragonkin lamps.

Chest openings have a dedicated completion counter and collection log. Item rewards and awarded PkHonor Points are included in the chest’s transfer log.

πŸ’Ž Dragonstone armour πŸ’Ž
The complete Dragonstone armour set has been implemented:
  • Dragonstone full helm
  • Dragonstone platebody
  • Dragonstone platelegs
  • Dragonstone boots
  • Dragonstone gauntlets
Dragonstone armour has full equipment bonuses, Defence requirements, noted variants and trade support.

The complete set can be packed into and unpacked from a Dragonstone armour set, and every piece can be stored in the Armour Case inside a player-owned house.

All five pieces have dedicated Elven Crystal Chest collection-log slots.

πŸƒ Prifddinas Agility Course πŸƒ

Image

The Prifddinas Agility Course is now functional and can be accessed from the teleport interface at level 75 Agility.

The course includes working obstacles, correct height transitions, shortcut portals, lap tracking, Agility XP, Marks of grace and Crystal-shard rewards.

Its base XP is balanced alongside the Wilderness Agility Course:
  • 56,000 XP from the course obstacles
  • 50,000 XP upon completing the lap
  • 106,000 base XP per complete lap
Shortcut portals can appear along the route and transport you past part of the course. Every portal has an explicitly configured destination height to prevent players from being placed in the air.

Using a portal awards 3–4 Crystal shards.

Wearing the complete Elven outfit doubles this to 6–8 Crystal shards.

Every completed lap awards one Mark of grace. Using a portal also provides an independent 1/5 chance of finding an additional Mark of grace.

Image Dark acorn β€” 1/1,000 per completed lap

Using a Dark acorn on a Giant squirrel permanently unlocks its Dark squirrel metamorphosis. The normal and lucky squirrels can freely transform between their Giant and Dark forms once unlocked. The Dark acorn also has a dedicated Prifddinas Agility Course collection-log slot.

πŸ‘— Elven outfit rewards πŸ‘—
Lady Carys Hefin can be found near the ground-level entrance to the Prifddinas Agility Course.

She operates the Prifddinas Agility Rewards shop, which uses Marks of grace as currency.

Image Elven boots β€” 75 Marks

Image Elven gloves β€” 50 Marks

Image Elven top (white) β€” 150 Marks

Image Elven skirt (white) β€” 125 Marks

Image Elven top (yellow) β€” 150 Marks

Image Elven skirt (yellow) β€” 125 Marks

Image Elven top (blue) β€” 150 Marks

Image Elven legwear (blue) β€” 125 Marks

Image Elven top (purple) β€” 150 Marks

A wearable four-piece outfit costs 400 Marks of grace.

Every equipped outfit category provides a 2.5% Agility XP bonus. Wearing boots, gloves, a top and legwear together provides a total 15% Agility XP bonus and doubles Crystal shards obtained from portals.

All nine Elven items in the shop have collection-log slots and can be stored in the Magic Wardrobe inside a player-owned house.

Purchasing an item immediately unlocks its corresponding collection-log entry.

πŸ”¨ Amrod’s seed exchange πŸ”¨
Amrod can now be found at his original location in Prifddinas.

He exchanges unnoted crystal seeds for the following quantities of Crystal shards:

Image Crystal weapon seed β€” 10 shards

Image Crystal armour seed β€” 250 shards

Image Enhanced crystal weapon seed β€” 1,500 shards

You may exchange either one seed or every eligible seed in your inventory. These high-value conversions are transfer logged.

In other news
  • Regular and Corrupted Gauntlet completions, deaths and personal-best times are tracked separately.

  • Youngllef also unlocks its Boss Pets collection-log entry.
  • The Elven Crystal Chest has a dedicated counter and collection log.
  • Prifddinas Agility laps now increment their displayed course count.
  • The Elven outfit can be stored in the Magic Wardrobe.
  • Dragonstone armour can be stored in the Armour Case.
