Abyssal Demon Guide (Potential Money Making) - Bloodydroid

Post by Bloodydroid » Wed Nov 27, 2013 9:02 pm

Bloodydroid's Abyssal Demons guide.

In this guide I will be sharing with you guys my methods of Abyssal Demons. I hope you can make the most of this guide and use it for future references.

Table of content:

*Requirements
*How to get there
*Information
*Whips an hour. (Approximately)
*FAQs

Requirements

To access the Abyssal Demons you need the following requirements:
*85 Slayer
*Decent combat stats
*43 prayer is a good bonus
*Good strength and attack bonus armor.
*Enough money to buy a few potions.
*Patience.

This is my personal setup for Abyssal demons (Can alter from player to player)

Inventory
Image

2 overloads to last atleast 40 minutes.
16 super prayers (can use prayer pots. I tend to use piety for faster kills)

Gear setup
Image

Full void for more accurate hits and more attack bonus.
Berserker ring for more str and attack bonus.
Fury for focusing more on attack.
Dragon boots for strength bonus.
Obby cape (Cause I'm a noob) for extra bonus. Alternate Skillcape.
Rune defender for strength bonus. Alternate Dragonfire shield or Dragon defender.

Remember that sometimes getting an Abyssal whip can take a while and you will need to be patient.

How to get there

To get to the abyssal demons click on the skilling teleport > more > more > Slayer.

Once there follow the map to the stairs and go to the second floor.

From there run north till the very end then west till the end. Head south open the door and you should see a ladder. Climb up and head north east till you reach a door, open it and head west and you're there.

Information

First thing to keep in mind about Abyssal Demons is that there is a lot of potential money if you have a lot of patience.
After a while it can get to a point where you don't get a whip for a while but then out of nowhere you get 2 - 3 in a matter of minutes.
With just prayer pots and Supers/ovls you can last for hours this has a lot of potential to be one of the stable money making methods in game.

Whips to expect an hour.

This is going to vary a lot so the right answer can be anywhere from 0 - 10. However from personal experience I managed to get 6 whips in one hour.
6 whips in one hour at the rate of 50m/whip that is in and around 300m/hour and more.

You need 85 slayer.
Patience is spelled like <--.
Skill capes are better than obby capes.
Dragon defender or DFS I'd say, not too expensive.

Other than that, not too bad of a guide, good job.

Thanks for your input, will update this.
I choose to take Rune defender for the extra slash bonus for more accurate hits. I would prefer to sacrifice the str bonus for extra attack. However it would depend on player to player on what that would use.
Ultimately D def would be the best I guess. :)
Highly appreciate your quick response. This is my first guide so please bare with me as I correct my errors.

Thanks a lot! That really gives me more confident to try out more guides. I only started a week ago so don't have nearly enough knowledge as some of the old players but I'll try to contribute by best towards the community.

also if you have 50 construction you can make a portal room where you can spend 90m to make a slayer cave portal where you can hunt abyssal demons and other slayer monsters and the slayer care is rarely full

btw if you want to add this to your guide go ahead
