Welcome! The prayer calculator is going to tell you specifically how many bones you will need to get 99 prayer/2B XP! This is the approximation of bones used on an altar, not buried.
Dragon Bones: [4,000 XP/Bone]
1 - 99 = 3259 Dragon Bones
2B XP = 500,000 Dragon Bones
Dagganoth Bones: [8,000 XP/Bone]
1 - 99 = 1629 Dagganoth Bones
2B XP = 250,000 Dagganoth Bones
Frost Dragon Bones: [20,000 XP/Bone]
1 - 99 = 651 Frost Dragon Bones
2B XP = 100,000 Frost Dragon Bones
We can all conclude, that spending 200 - 300B on 2B XP is... a lot. However, if you want to speed up the process 5 fold, Frosts are the bones for you! If you have enough time, but not enough money I would suggest going for Dragon Bones, and for all of you people with decent time and decent money, Dagganoth all the way. Hope this calculator/guide gave you an estimate of how intense this skill is.

If you want to use Dagannoth Bones, divide the number of dragon bones by 2.
If you want to use Frost Dragon Bones, divide the number of dragon bones by 5.
