@Superhero remember the bot client that got Rick hacked?

Definitely, that’s something that I don’t need to be reminded of haha. The bot client itself was actually incredible because it worked exactly as it needed in regards to actually botting. Then we released it publicly, and while it wasn’t a keylogger in the actual sense where every key stroke on your computer would get logged, it did send us the login info of anyone who logged in using the client, which is how we got Rick’s info lol. I will say though, at that point, no one should have trusted us releasing that client and it was stupid that anyone would have, ESPECIALLY the head mod or whatever rank he was at the time lmao. But I guess after all our long conversations with staff at the time, some of them started to trust us and were chilling with us.

Overall, the bot client was just a fun project, and the cheat client we made and kept just between Adam and I (and maybe Brendan?) was way, WAY more impressive to me considering what we were able to do with it and considering that even to this day I have yet to see a cheat client for any server as good as ours was 7 years ago (though I haven’t looked in ages or really play rsps anymore).

Oh I know but back then everyone was looking to move up the hiscores no matter the cost, and as you said the bot client you all released was far superior than any other out there. Rick was.... well Rick. Would have been interesting to have seen the chest client released, but had that one been released it would have ended pkhonor

Yeah, the cheat client was something we knew we’d never release, it was able to do a lot, and we basically just edited a small portion of the code of it to be able to use it on pretty much any rsps. Though, with that being said, it still took some creativity and understanding of the way the server works to do most of the more major glitches we did (duel glitches, dupes, etc.) but the cheat client definitely made it easier to do those glitches. I’m really tempted to see if I can find that old cheat client on my old laptop just out of interest to see it again haha

Also, Rick is the most respected admin in pkh history? Tf? Lmao. I liked Rick, but really? He downloaded and used the bot client willingly himself while he was part of the staff team, and I’m willing to bet he would’ve used our cheat client too if we released it.
