Considering it’s fixed, I can probably speak on root cause. The issue was that in certain circumstances, saving a player would take a long time (50-60 seconds). If the server crashed while the queue was backed up, a lot of saves were rolled back.

The reason lottery spam seemed to cause it is that lottery spam leads to a lot of people relogging in a short amount of time to bypass the daily limit.

Lottery dude is fine, besides the weird daily cap thing.
