Modern democracy is a safety feature that protects dictatorships from being overthrown.

Everyone is capable of complementing each other but won't.

That the good majority of groups such as, BLM, LGBTQ, feminists etc all feel like they’re put under or discriminated against when really it’s more of a false narrative then anything and most people don’t care what you are or what you believe in.

Quick edit: I don’t think any of these people should feel “under” because it’s 2020 and it should be common knowledge that everyone is equal with the exact same DNA as the the next person.

On that note: that despite their best intentions the good majority of "normal" people cannot conceive of what it's like to be part of a minority, to always have that risk of being hated for what you are (even if it doesn't happen that often). The entire world is designed for them and their confidence in their own identity is so strongly reinforced by the narrative of the countless generations that came before them, they cannot put themselves in the shoes of a minority. Having never had their core identity questioned or judged by others, or had to worry about such things happening, the experience would be completely foreign to them.

I do agree that discrimination is at an all-time low. Then again... Sure I don't have to deal with something like lower wages because I'm gay, but you don't have to deal with complete strangers making rude gestures or yelling insults at you when you go on a date.

I think most people just want to mind their own business - I don't think that most people don't care. With the recent political climate becoming more polarized, people who would've originally just minded their own are now feeling more of a call to action, which is good or bad depending on what side you're on. I would've agreed with you outright 3 or 4 years ago, but the narrative has persisted for so long that it's real now. And with more and more footage, testimonies, and stories coming out these days, the question of whether this has been going on the entire time or if it's a new behavior comes into play. Take cops for example - have they always treated black people this badly? Have black people been right to rap, complain, and testify against the cops for the last few decades? Or has this just started as a result of a false narrative driving tensions over time? The harrowing part is that both options are pretty bad and require immediate change.

This is key to understanding the whole point. Well said.

@Rapsey maybe due to the location I live where I don’t ever see racism or people protesting any of these “minority’s” that I couldn’t think otherwise, (live in southern Ontario if anyone wanted to know). Also I didn’t mean people “don’t care” to be a bad thing more like it’s your life live it how you want regardless of ethnicity or sexuality etc.

@Patel i’ve never really noticed people to disagree with someone’s live choices as long as it doesn’t negativity effect their life. I could understand the mind set of thinking people just want to mind their own business however I just don’t think (most) people care about another’s life choice.

I will say this though;
If you’re a minority like the group BLM claims to be, or you support BLM, you choose to speak up and protest injustice from police etc, but you don’t speak up about the police getting killed due to this protest and looting and rioting caused by this very movement then you’re the problem. Pushing an agenda with IMO a false narrative. I’ve said it before somewhere on forums aswell, not all black people are criminals, not all cops are bad, not all white people are supremacists.

Live your life and be happy, just don’t do shitty things to people and your community because then it becomes a problem.

Please continue on with unpopular opinions though!

Respire1337 should just go and play OSRS instead of trying to make PkHonor into a like-for-like copy of it. :badjokeeel: :badjokeeel: :badjokeeel:

We still love you though.
