Someone should check these too to make sure they arent 1 gp
Easy - 100 KC - Explorer's Backpack
Medium - 100 KC - Uri's Hat
Hard - 100 KC - Briefcase
Elite - 100 KC - Scroll Sack
Master - 100 KC - Heavy Casket
Those are meant to be 1 gp. They’re not tradeable and obtaining them costs nothing

Very good, that makes perfect sense.

Ryan's done some discussing with Mike on the guidelines we follow when updating prices so we will be spending this weekend working to try to push through as many valid price changes as we can. There's already a good few suggestions but if you want to suggest more now is the time.
Don't add discontinueds to your lists as those prices will be not be considered for a price change at this time and will have to be looked at in the future
All prices will have to match information we can find in the logs to a degree but thanks to your friendly neighborhood staff manager Ryan we'll be as flexible as possible to get things as up to date as possible.

I think when it comes to discontinued items, the price should be put really low so that a custom price can be offered on ge without buy/sell offer limit being reached. That keeps the price of these items low preventing scams and confusion but also allows for collectors to still pay high prices to obtain these items.

Can you clarify this statement? In my humble opinion, staff should be consistently adjusting prices as necessary. I don't think any of us expect daily/weekly updates, but this should absolutely not be a one time thing.

I think what he's trying to say is that, now that there's a "green light" to be more flexible, we have an opportunity to power through a rather big backlog that has broken or very out of date prices, and then continue regular price updates in the future.

Basically what fungamer said. This is gonna be a one time big push of lots of prices. Then back to the standard way of doing them as he notice them or they’re suggested.

Why not have someone specific deal with prices or a small select few who are dedicated to updating fair prices for the server instead of just casually having staff do it when they see something?
Everyone has aspects of the game they are really into. Merching, staking, pvm, pking, collecting, socializing... etc.
Allow players who are passionate about items and prices to do what they love and are good at to deal with something like this.
Staff members should still have oversight in approving or denying price suggestions but don't reserve suggesting new updated fair prices exclusively for staff members only.

If staff members still have oversight, then that's basically what this thread is

The system for price changes was made when they had a more significant impact on the community (they affected alch values).
If it was going to be changed to where someone or a certain ranks have unilateral price change powers it would have to come from Mike or Rapsey.
You'd have to argue the pros and cons with them.
