Image Mimic and Bloodhound Image

In today's update: the Mimic and the Bloodhound are here!

Image

When completing an Elite or Master Treasure Trail, you'll have a 1/40 chance (Elite) or a 1/15 chance (Master) of obtaining a Mimic casket! To complete the Mimic casket, you need to teleport to (and defeat) the Mimic, using the right-click teleport option on the casket. Opening a completed Mimic casket will award two rolls on the drop table of the casket which originally spawned it. You can only have one Mimic casket on your account at any time. The Mimic Casket can be converted to a regular (tradeable) casket by using the "convert" option on the casket.

Dying during the Mimic fight is a safe death, with a couple exceptions:
  • Hardcore ironman status will be lost.
  • Your Mimic casket will be converted to a regular casket.

When dying with a Mimic casket in your inventory in any unsafe way, it will be converted to a regular casket before your death, regardless of whether the regular casket would be protected due to its price. The regular casket will then be protected according to its price.

In other news, the Bloodhound has also been added! Every time you complete a clue step, you'll have a chance at receiving the Bloodhound pet. The chance will depend on the level of clue step you're completing, and the rates are listed below:
  • Easy - 1/5000
  • Medium - 1/4250
  • Hard - 1/3500
  • Elite - 1/3000
  • Master - 1/2500

Additionally, if you have a Lucky Bloodhound following you while completing a clue step, there's a 5% chance that you'll complete an extra clue step. This effect can trigger multiple times for the same clue scroll.

Image Boss and Minigame Timers Image

In today's update: the Kill Count Book will now track boss and minigame completion times! You can view the new section using a button which you'll find at the bottom of your Kill Count book!

Image

For a time to register, there's a requirement that the player completing the kill does 95% or more of the damage to the NPC. There are exceptions for CoX, ToB, and the Nightmare. In those places, the entire team will have a shared time registered. This may be reworked, but for now it seems like the best way to ensure the highscores are as fair and competitive as possible.

You can toggle time notifications for individual bosses in the same way as in the killcount section; by clicking the entry for the boss and choosing whether you'd like to show or hide notifications. You can also sort by time completed or alphabetically using the settings button at the top right of the book.

What about my old completion times?
For the Theatre of Blood, your personal best (PB) will be set on your first login following the update. CoX PBs will only be loaded if you're currently on the leaderboards, and you'll need to go view the scoreboard at CoX for your book to be synced. For other bosses which were previously timed, there will be no preloaded times.

Quality of Life and Bugfixes

Today we are seeing a large number of Quality of Life (QoL) changes and bugfixes. A huge thank you to both @Nazuths and @Raj for their hard work on this major update.

Important note: Everyone's blocked slayer task list has been reset in this update. As blocked tasks are now slayer master specific, you will have to set your blocked tasks again at the slayer masters.

QoL changes:
  • Nex item degradation has been converted to a charge system. Items in inventories and banks are automatically converted, with Ancient Repair kits being returned based on the old degradation state. Collection logs will be updated the first time you open your collection log following the update. Nex will now drop uncharged armor, rather than fully charged as it was before. On death, if your Nex item is lost, all charges will be removed and it'll be dropped on the ground. No repair kits will be dropped. Nex items from the refund store have not been automatically converted, but will be converted on your next login after withdrawing them.
  • The Nex altar has been replaced with a different model, and a right-click "teleport" option has been added which will bring you out of the room. If you have an Ancient Ceremonial set on your account, it will bring you to the entrance to Nex's room. If not, it will bring you inside the Frozen Door, where you can reobtain your Zaros killcount.
  • Blocked Slayer tasks are now Slayer master specific, you no longer have to remove your entire block list, then pick new blocks when switching between Slayer masters.
  • Pathing for stacked entities has been improved. The bug from this thread will no longer occur (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=83055).
  • Several bank booths have been implemented, Lumbridge basement has been added with a chest spawn.
  • Quantity of Nature runes in ::shops has increased from 100 to 1000.
  • Killcount required for the different CoX capes now includes both regular CoX and Challenge Mode CoX.
  • You will now be shown the total price of repairing all your barrows equipment when talking to the weird old man.
  • Barrows equipment can now be repaired while in noted form.
  • When shearing sheep with a full inventory, wool is now dropped on the ground.
  • The message indicating wave 30 is the last wave for Endless mode in Zombies minigame has been removed to avoid confusion.
  • A Server-wide message was added whenever a player completes a tab or the entire Collection Log .
  • Musketeer hat, Fishbowl and net and Black pickaxe have been added to the Collection Log.
  • Armadyl's Grapple has been added to the Commander Zilyana collection log.
  • Olmlet (and metamorphosed variants) can now be traded in at the Pet Trader, reward is rolled in the same way a unique is rolled in Chambers of Xeric.
  • Clan and proximity drop broadcasts will now use the average price range value, rather than the low value.
  • You may now enter the Cerberus lair without a task, in the event of an untimely death. Attacking Cerberus off task will still not work.
  • When in both the PkHonor help clan and another clan, messages in the help clan will be displayed in a slightly darker shade.
  • Watson has a new dialogue option which allows you to check which clue scrolls you need to exchange, without activating the actual exchange.
  • Presets can now contain empty coal bags.
  • Edible seaweed now has a destroy option.

Bugfixes:
  • Visual bug on Mystic Dusk Top and Elder chaos hood were fixed.
  • Metamorphosed Olmlet will no longer disappear when banked.
  • A visual glitch causing other players to not see the Ice Demon and Shamans range and special attacks has been fixed.
  • Sleepwalkers at the Nightmare will now walk through players instead of being blocked by them.
  • Leather item crafting level requirements and experience rewards are now properly implemented.
  • Noted inquisitor hauberk and plateskirt can now be alched and traded.
  • Tormented Demons, Ice Strykewyrms and Barrelchest teleports from Teleport interface will now bring you to an instance as an ironman, instead of putting you together with regular players.
  • Vespula drops should now always be global, for both ironman and regular players, not depending on who did most damage. This should also fix the issue where ironman could not see Vespula drops (even in a solo).
  • Vasa Nistirio could be attacked in rock form by using magic spells, Glowing crystal seemed to be aggressive to players when it could reach the player, additionally Glowing crystal objects would not be spawned properly when a new part of the map loaded (i.e. would indicate it is not a focused crystal when it was). All these bugs should now be fixed.
  • Teleport to house would require 2 law runes and 6 air runes in combat, it now correctly uses 1 law rune and 3 air runes.
  • Certain items would not give proper Godwars dungeon protection, this should be fixed.
  • Jade bolts no longer miss their respective ranged strength.
  • (Corrupt) Statius's warhammer now hits faster with 5 ticks in between attacks (instead of 6 ticks).
  • (noted) Dragonbone necklace can now be alched.
  • Imbued god capes, tanzanite/magma helm (uncharged), ferocious gloves and the Neitiznot faceguard can now be noted.
  • Elite clue scrolls would be awarded on a PvP kill even if the killer already had an Elite clue scroll in the bank, this can no longer occur.
  • Sotetseg's ranged level was incorrect, it now has the correct level of 250.
  • Fixed a bug causing certain death piles not to show up on death.
  • Healers in the Inferno will properly spawn when completing multiple runs without logging out.
  • Storing godsword hilts in looting bags has been fixed.
  • UIMs will have pets sent to their refund boxes rather than their inaccessible bank.
  • Players using the Teleport Crystal for the Bounty Hunter minigame will no longer be able to teleport to the risk fight area.
  • The seed dibber's animation has been fixed.
  • Noted lucky pets will now go to the refund box on death.
  • Fixed a bug where combining Bronze Bolts with weapon poison (+) and weapon poison (++) would not yield the correct result.
  • The Slayer Helmet effect will now be active against the Sire's Respiratory Systems while on a slayer task.
  • All warhammers have had their wielding requirements changed from attack to strength, to be in line with OSRS.
  • The Chaos Fanatic can no longer be assigned as a duo slayer task, considering it is in a single combat zone.
  • All dialogue containing the phrase "PkHonor Exchange shop" has been replaced with "PkHonor Points shop".
  • The Vesta's spear, Morrigan's javelin, and Morrigan's throwing axe special attacks have been fixed.
  • The ::layout command now has had a 3 minute cooldown when being used in the help clan.

Image Impling Clues and Roaming Implings! Image

In today's update: implings have clue scrolls added to their drop tables, and roaming world implings will spawn!

Roaming world implings have been added! They can spawn throughout Gielinor, excluding the wilderness, and only in the normal world on the ground level. They will spawn somewhat randomly, but tending towards areas where players have been recently.

Additionally, implings have had clue scrolls added to their drop tables. The rates are as follows:
  • Baby Impling - Easy - 1/750
  • Young Impling - Easy - 1/500
  • Gourmet Impling - Easy - 1/500
  • Earth Impling - Easy - 1/375
  • Essence Impling - Easy - 1/300
  • Nature Impling - Medium - 1/500
  • Magpie Impling - Medium - 1/500
  • Ninja Impling - Medium - 1/375
  • Eclectic Impling - Medium - 1/300
  • Spirit Impling - Medium - 1/300
  • Pirate Impling - Medium - 1/300
  • Zombie Impling - Medium - 1/300
The clue scrolls can't be obtained from impling jars. However, you will still roll for a clue scroll when catching an impling using a butterfly net and impling jars.

Other Changes
  • Muted players can now use the ::private command.
  • An attempted fix was made for portions of item piles not appearing following deaths or teleports.
  • Ancient repair kits have been added to the Brimstone Chest drop table at rates of 1 in 6 for 1 kit, or 1 in 100 for 10 kits.
  • Nex will now drop 10 noted repair kits any time you obtain a Nex item as a drop.
  • On death, when a charged Nex item is dropped, a number of noted ancient repair kits will also be dropped equal to the charges you still had on the item, divided by 4000 and rounded down. This is equal to losing one (partially used) kit on death.
  • If you attempt to charge an uncharged item, while having charges on your account but not owning a charged variant of the item, it will now be converted for you, instead of creating an unchargeable/unusable item as it was before. This should fix any issues that a few players had with Sanguinesti staffs, toxic staffs or other Zulrah items that became unusable at some point.

Post by Mike » Sat Nov 26, 2022 7:20 pm

Today, we bring our cache up to date with the latest version of OSRS. This cache update is needed so we can add the following features to PkHonor in the near future:
  • The Tombs of Amascut, also known as Raids 3, with all its rewards as well as the Keris partisan
  • New Nex map with added rewards, such as the Zaryte crossbow and Zaryte vambraces (and we'll be sure to throw in the Nex pet as well)
  • Bow of faerdhinen
  • Other variants of Lil' Zik pet (Lil' Maiden, Lil' Bloat, Lil' Nylo, Lil' Sot and Lil' Xarp)
  • Group ironman armour, which will come in handy when we add Group Ironman Mode
  • A whole bunch of cosmetic items, which will be nice to have for future holiday events (among other possible uses)
  • Guardians of the rift, although there are currently no plans yet to add this minigame, but maybe in a future update once all other major pieces of content have been added, this also depends on what the community gives preference to
  • And amethyst darts, which are already included in this update!

There are also a few QoL features and bugfixes included in this update:
  • You can now create amethyst darts by using a chisel on an amethyst to craft amethyst dart tips (requires 89 crafting) and attaching feathers to the tips to create amethyst darts (requires 90 fletching). They can be poisoned and can be used as ammo for the toxic blowpipe.
  • You can now use the magic cape perk while having the magic cape in your inventory.
  • You can now check how many uses you have left on your magic cape (or how long you have to wait until you can use it again) by right-clicking the cape in your inventory and clicking "Perk-info"or right-clicking the cape in your equipment tab and clicking "Check".
  • Nex now has a respawn timer of 30 seconds for Ironman mode players (same as for regular players), so they can now use the ancient altar after defeating Nex.
  • Fixed a bug where standing on one side of a wall and trying to attack a player or NPC at the other side of that wall might lead you to stand still instead of walking around the wall. This was especially noticeable at the revenant caves.
  • Roaming ninja implings have been fixed and can now be caught.
  • Fixed a bug where the bank booth outside the Nex chamber did not allow initiating a buy offer on the Grand Exchange.

  • The poison pools at the Great Olm will no longer inflict lasting poison when you are protected against poison. Standing in the pools will still do damage as long as you stand in the pool, regardless of poison protection. This effect should now work as intended.
  • A bug has been fixed that would prevent unblocking a blocked slayer task from the second page on your blocked task list.
  • The bank booths at the air and water altars have been slightly moved to fix a minor visual bug.

Today we release two rather small but important bugfixes:
  • A bug has been fixed where piles of items that are dropped on the floor may become invisible if the amount is a multiple of 256.
  • The Chambers of Xeric leaderboards has been greatly improved so it no longer loads really slowly.

Nex Rework & instances

We are thrilled to announce that Nex has undergone a massive rework! The ancient prison has been moved to its correct location and its combat mechanics now more closely resemble that of the combat mechanics of Nex in OSRS (aside from HP and drop rate scaling). Let's dive into the details!

HP and droprate scaling

The hitpoints of Nex and her mages now scale according to the size of the party, similar to the Nightmare. The scaling is as follows:
Nex HP = 2800 + 600 x partysize. In a solo instance, she will have 3400 HP; 4000 HP in a duo, etc.
Mage HP = 400 + 100 x partysize. In a solo instance, all mages have 500 HP; 600 HP in a duo etc.

The drop rate increases by 100% for each player present. In a duo, she will have twice the drop rate as in a solo instance. With three players, she will have three times the drop rate etc. Since the drop rate increase per player is more than the HP increase per player, it is beneficial to fight her in larger groups. The larger the group, the fewer damage each player needs to deal in order to get the same chance at loot.
In order to prevent leeching, a player needs to deal at least 300 damage to Nex in order to be eligible to receive a drop.
Additionally, just like with the Nightmare, the player who dealt the most damage to Nex receives an additional 5% drop rate bonus.

Lastly, as Nex's defensive stats now more closely resemble those of OSRS, she will be slower to kill. To compensate, we have buffed the droprates of her rare items.

New Rewards

Image Zaryte Vambraces: a pair of ranged gloves that requires 80 range and 45 defence, offering +18 range attack and +2 range strength bonus.

Image Nihil Horn: a horn which can be combined with the Armadyl Crossbow and 250 Nihil Shards to create the Image Zaryte Crossbow, a crossbow which has a special attack doubling its accuracy and guaranteeing the special effect of any enchanted bolt effect to apply on the next hit, along with having a +110 ranged attack bonus and defensive bonuses against melee, ranged and magic. Additionally, the crossbow has a passive effect strengthening any enchanted bolts by 10% (as per the information here).

Image Nexling: The long-awaited Nex pet is finally here! It works just the same as any other boss pet, but with two minor additions:
  • Offers a 10% chance to block the attacks of not only Nex, but also the Nex mages and minions (12% block chance for the lucky pet).
  • Acts as protection from any GWD minion (so none of the minions outside the GWD boss rooms will be aggressive toward you).
Additional QoL features may be added to Nexling later as per popular request from the community.

Image Nihil Shards: 250 of these, along with a nihil horn and Armadyl crossbow, can be used to create the Image Zaryte Crossbow.
They can also be ground into nihil dust with a pestle and mortar. Nihil dust can then be used on an unfinished dwarf weed potion to create the Image ancient brew.
A dose of ancient brew boosts the player's Magic level by 2 + 5% of their base Magic level, as well as restoring prayer points equal to 2 + 10% of their base Prayer level, with the ability to restore up to 5% over the player's base Prayer level. However, it will also drain the player's Attack, Strength, and Defence levels by 2 + 10% of their current levels (see here).

Crossbow changes

Enchanted crossbow bolt special effects have been tweaked in order to more closely match their mechanics in OSRS (as per this information):
  • All enchanted bolts now have their correct chance to apply their special effect, as per the information on the OSRS wiki (for most, this means their chance to apply is now lower than before)
  • Dragonstone bolt (e) special now always deals 20% of your ranged level as extra dragonfire damage, instead of a random amount. Any amount of dragonfire protection, including protect from magic, will fully block this extra damage.
  • Onyx bolt (e) special now deals 20% extra damage instead of 10%.
  • Pearl bolt (e) special now deals 1/15th of your ranged level to fiery opponents (most dragons, fire giants, pyrefiends and other players with a fire cape or fire staff) and 1/20th of your ranged level to any other enemies (negated by wearing a water staff)
  • Diamond bolt (e) special now increases max hit by 15% instead of 10%.
  • Topaz bolt (e) special now always decreases the enemy's magic level by 1 (instead of a random amount between 0 and the damage dealt).
  • The chance to evade a jade bolt (e) special is now equal to the chance shown in the graph on this page, with 0% chance to evade at agility level 13 or below and 100% chance to evade at agility level 92 or above.

The Armadyl crossbow has been slightly altered to more closely resemble its OSRS counterpart:
  • It now offers +1 prayer bonus (instead of +10).
  • It no longer passively increases the chance to apply an enchanted bolt special effect against NPC's.
  • Its special attack now doubles the chance to apply an enchanted bolt special effect against both players and NPC's (instead of not affecting the chance to apply in PvP and having a guaranteed chance to apply a bolt special in PvM).
  • Its special attack now doubles the accuracy of your attack in both PvP and PvM (instead of doubling the accyuracy in PvP and providing +20% accuracy in PvM).

Improved Instance and Party System

Along with Nex, we have a new system for managing private instances which we'll be using going forwards. This will allow players to rent or create private instances to use with their friends or clanmates throughout the game. For now, this system is only in use at Nex, and the clan integration is currently disabled, but we will be adding more bosses to it over time.

Minor Changes and Quality of Life:

Implings have been reworked. The changes are as follows:

Lucky implings have been added. Every time the server spawns a world impling, there's a 1/100 chance it becomes a lucky impling, as long as there are no other lucky implings in the world already. These will guarantee a random item from a random non-ironman clue table. The item is rolled independently of drop rates, meaning a magic stone has an equal chance as any other item, assuming you roll the elite or master table in your initial roll. Lucky implings will give 500,000 base hunter XP.

Additionally, Pirate and Dragon implings have been rebalanced.

The changes for these are:
  • Dragon impling XP drop increased from 2,400 to 7,500.
  • Dragon claws drop rate doubled.
  • Pirate impling XP increased from 4,000 to 7,500.

Further:
  • World implings will provide tripled drop rates on all items, including clue scrolls.
  • Pirate implings have had the left and right eye patches added to their drops. The eye patches can be used with a needle and thread to make a double eyepatch.
  • Colored pirate outfits have been added to pirate implings, as well as the Pirate hook, Pirate boots, Big pirate hat, and Pirate hat and patch.

Other changes:
  • There is no longer a cap on the amount of essence you can have of any GWD boss.
  • Skilling clues will now roll down tiers if you already have one, rather than discarding the drop.
  • Skilling clues will now be about twice as common.
  • The Vorki droprate has been buffed from 1/1000 to 1/500.
  • Wyrm bones are now a guaranteed drop from WildyWyrms and Ice Strykewyrms.
  • The chance of rolling an alternate table when opening the Crystal Chest has been increased.
  • Helpers no longer have a limit on how often they can yell.
  • Helpers will now show up on the ::staff list.
  • Helpers now have a global 3% XP bonus.
  • Fishing with the Fishbowl and Net has been fixed.
  • Obtaining (spawning) Nex items on an honor will fully charge the item by default.
  • Dying from a random event will no longer cause you to lose items or hardcore ironman status.
  • As a hardcore ironman player, if you leave your clan chat while inside clan wars or the Chambers of Xeric, your hardcore status will be protected for another few seconds in the rare case that you die in the minigame at the same time that you leave the clan chat (as leaving your CC will instantly teleport you home, which might make you lose your hardcore status). Any players previously affected by this particular bug will have their hardcore status reinstated. Please make a post on the refunds forum if you have lost your hardcore ironman status this way.
