Nice and easy guide
If I hate something on any desktop computer it is Java.... Such a pain in the ass, always those errors, security issues, register issues, configuration issues, folder issues, x64 issues, PATH and CLASSPATH issues, delete issues, install issues and lagg issues on slow pcs.
50% of my windows issues exist of Java issues, and that's A lot.

Pretty sure on the newest version this might not work, at least for me it does not...high is now the minimum security setting and I have
http://www.pkhonor.net/ in my exceptions list and I still get the blocked message without being prompted to be able to allow it.
From the Java website...

Security levels in the Java Control Panel
High
This is the minimum recommended (and default) security level setting. Applications that are signed with a valid or expired certificate and include the Permissions attribute in the manifest for the main JAR file are allowed to run with security prompts. Applications are also allowed to run with security prompts when the revocation status of the certificate cannot be checked. All other applications are blocked.
Hopefully Mike can do whatever needs to be done to meet requirements to be able to allow: "Applications that are signed with a valid or expired certificate and include the Permissions attribute in the manifest for the main JAR file are allowed to run with security prompts. Applications are also allowed to run with security prompts when the revocation status of the certificate cannot be checked. All other applications are blocked."
