First things first.
What is slayer?
Getting started.
As I said before, this is a combat based skill, so some gear would be a good idea.
Personally I prefer melee combat, but we'll obviously cover all gears.
(I suggest you start off with at least 60 attack and strength and like 40 defence, 60 range, 60 magic)

So, we have our gear set up, lets get ourselves a task.

Normal magic book: Ancient magic book: Lunar magic book: Click the "More skilling zones" twice until you see "Slayer"


You'll now be in the slayer tower, where you talk to this man.


Simply get a task


And baboom.

(Yes that was my first task on that account...)

Resetting a task.
If you have a impossible task, it is possible to reset it by typing in This will cost 500k.

The shop
The slayer master has a trade option.
To make the helmet:

Drops list
Before I take a lot of space and add a entire drop guide to this guide, there is already a drop list.
The drops list
To find your task in this huge list, on the site simply press CTRL+F on your keyboard and type out your task, it will bring you to the drops your task drops.

The XP
That what we have all been waiting for!
The xp tablet.
(This will take a while.)
Every task, when finished, will give you a bonus.
This bonus is the xp the monster gives you *6.

Poor mage should be mystic

Mid wealth should be ahrims

You shouldn't even include Meele/ Range setups, they both suck for ranged.

Melee is really the only effective way to go.

True, but I am doing a top notch guide, so I am including everything.

If like a couple of people could suggest things for me to add, that'd be awesome (Also if you have things I did wrong, or stuff I missed.)

I am aware I still need a lot of tasks to be handled. And I will work on those soon.

Slayer is the combat based, but not combat increasing skill that you train to get the better loots/weapons in the game.
For example, at level 85 you can kill lesser demons, which drop their well known abbysal whip.
At level 90 you can kill Dark beasts, known for their respectable Dark bow drop.

This is a good skill for making money, so if that's what you came for you're in the right place.

Abyssal*
I would say to use blood blitz/barrage for magic if any magic at all.
I wouldn't suggest range unless it was a cannon.
Other than that it was a pretty good guide I'm sure it will help people out.
