Here is a quick and simple money making method that you can do on a fresh account with very little requirements.

Battle Mages are NPC's within the Mage arena. The currently attack with Melee and are very easy to kill. Just pray Protect from Melee and attack with your best gear that you are willing to risk in the wilderness. Their best drops are the God Capes which sell in the ge for anywhere between 20m to 100m+.

They are killed for the following drops:

• God Capes
• God Staves
• God Books
• Master Wand
• Mages Book

These items can be sold in the Grand Exchange for anywhere from 5m to 100m+ depending on the market. The drops are fairly common, so it is possible to make a lot of money here per hour.

How to get there:

Use the PvP teleport to Mage Bank in your spell book. Then pull the levers to enter the Mage Arena.
